One that believes in the birth process and in the power of women to give birth. Birth is a wonderful, joyful and life changing experience but it is also a very normal physiological process. Sadly many doctors and midwives have lost sight of this. Many women find their pregnancy and birth is turned into a medical event. My job is to help you to make the birth of your child a special, personal, family event. To do this I will need to listen to you, get to know you, and find out what your individual needs and preferences are. I can then use my knowledge and skills to support you appropriately while you are growing your baby, birthing your baby and mothering your newborn baby.
