An initial consultation
in your own home
First visit as your midwife
when I get to know you better and make a full assessment of your needs. I will carry out a full antenatal check and arrange blood tests and scans for you. Scans can be either with the NHS or privately with Mums. There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions. You will be given your pregnancy notes/records to keep with you.
Visits during your pregnancy
Approximately 10 visits arranged at a time and place to suit you. These will incorporate a full antenatal check and discussion and planning of labour and birth.
Labour and Birth
You will be able to contact me by phone when you go into labour. I will be with you throughout your labour and birth.
Visits after the birth
Daily visits in the first week. Less frequently (as you wish) after this, until the baby is 28 days old. Lots of support to establish breast feeding.

Payments can be made in 4 instalments: at first appointment, 20 weeks, 28 weeks and 36 weeks.

There is a charge of £50 for an initial consultation which is deductable from the full amount if you decide to go ahead.

For hospital births. 3 visits to get to know you, then on-call for your birth. One-to-one support for labour and birth. Debriefing visit at home.

Whatever you want to discuss, a private session in your own home, lasting up to 2 hours, can be very informative and helpful.

All your care from baby's birth to 1 month old. Includes all breastfeeding support.
